Ali Imhof lives in Brooklyn, and works in the Garment District of Manhattan.  She grew up in New Jersey, and attended college at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.  After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design, she started working at Creative Worldwide, a domestic sweater company in Queens.  Ali expanded her knowledge by designing their Branded Import Line and working hands on with their in house knitwear factory.  A year later she got a job at the Ralsey Division of Li & Fung, a corporate private label firm.

 

Within a year, the Creative Director she worked under branched out to start a new company called Reunited Clothing, at which time they brought her in as an Associate Designer.  There she grew in the company, and was quickly promoted each year to become a Senior Designer at the company.  Here she managed a wide range of private label accounts including the in house branded label Marled by Reunited Clothing which is sold at various luxury retailers.  Now she is continuing her work as a Senior Designer in sweaters and expanding to wovens and cut & sew.
